Abc4all is giving an opportunity to any person from any walk of life who would like to Spend time with schools, families, companies in the rural communities in Ghana to share with them their knowledge and learning experience.

THE CORE MESSAGE IS:

6 billion people - 1 world - 8 goals
YOUR ACTION MATTERS!

Areas of Work:

We have volunteer spaces in the following areas:

Education

Education as you know is the key to success but is this necessary need being achieved? The second goal of the millennium development goals talked about achieving universal primary education by 2015, thus we are talking about a few years from now. The question is what the stage we have reached so far is and can this be achieved before that date?

Coming back to the Ghanaian view of this declaration, how far has the Government achieve this goal.

The Government of Ghana has now made primary education free and has introduced a free feeding program for the pupils. Even though these incentives have been putted in place to enable the children to attend school, there are certain basic needs that have not been putted in place to achieve good education.

Things like infrastructure is not well instituted: talking about lack of libraries for after school research, lack of canteen for them to sit comfortably and eat and lack of good teachers to teach these children among others.

Abc4all realizing this need has decided to offer volunteer opportunity to all those who are interested in helping this children to achieve at least primary education by offering their noble time to teach them English Language, Social issues,ICT and Peace education.

Participating schools can be found in several towns and villages of the following regions in Ghana: Greater Accra, Central, Eastern, Volta and Ashanti.

Culture

A good culture is what has been inspiring all the members of ABC4ALL For their day to day living.

Abc4all is offering a volunteer opportunity to interested people who would like to exchange cultures with Ghanaians.

Participants would be placed in any region and culture of His/Her choice to learn all about the host family’s culture and in return the participant also teach the home family the culture of his/her country.

Sports

Sports has now become the number one activity that brings people from all walks of like together for a common purpose.

Due to the love and interest developed by people in all continent and Ghana not being an exception Abc4all realising that has added sports volunteer program in our project.

This program aims at bringing volunteer who are interested in sporting activities ranging from various sporting activities like football, volleyball, basketball etc etc to come and help develop this children who have love and passion for sports and in the longrun helping development their minds in a more positive way as sports is all about fun and peace.

Farming/Agriculture

This project aims at offering volunteers the opportunity to meet with our local or indegenous farmers and help them with the new modern way of farming.

Most of our rural areas and farmers are still using the old system of farming who Man has to do all the work on the farm which in turn takes longer time to clear the land and plant and cultivate whiles there are new methoof farming now with the new emergence of technology.

Participants would teach the farmers what, when and how they should farm for better production.

Participants are going to work with families on the farm whiles they teach them the better way of farming.
